Director of Agri-Business Development
Sue started her career as a management consultant for Ernst and Young where she worked on large-scale process improvement projects. She then worked as the manager of business development for a telecommunications firm before starting several businesses of her own. Her entrepreneurial spirit lives on in her consulting company, EJL Enterprises, where she supports other female entrepreneurs.
Sue is passionate about all things hemp! She’s the Vice President and founding board member of The Hemp Hub of Central Virginia, which is a co-op that educates hemp farmers. Sue has a variety of responsibilities at Save the Earth Hemp, including genetics selection, developing the R&D program, and working on seasonal planting and crop distribution. As the Director of Agri-Business for Halcyon Holdings, she coordinates group projects.
Sue is the type of person who never gets bored. Her creative side comes out in her crafting and art. She loves hiking, tennis, science fiction and Pilates. Sue’s three sons and rescue dogs also keep her plenty busy! If Sue could be any animal, she would want to be a fox. They’re smart, resourceful, and never get cold thanks to their warm fur.
